The guy I bought my car from had JVC 12 disc changer in the trunk, all well and fine, but recently it's gone to crap and eats a CD every other day. I'm really tired of messing with it and having to go to my trunk to change CDs. I can get the STOCK CD player from a car that had the Mach 460, and mount that in what would be the stock location (where the storage bin is now).

My problem is that since my car has a kenwood headunit/tape deck, can I pull this off? Will the CD player be compatable with the headunit/non Mach 460 sound system?

Need help here guys, thanks.

I got a Mach 460 front wiring harness w/CD player connections for ~$30 on Ebay.

But I was rewiring the car to upgrade from the basic audio to the Mach 460 system - the Mach 460 harness won't fit directly into anything but a Mach system. You'll have to take it apart, and splice the connectors into your existing audio harness (make sure to take out the aftermarket adapters in your system right now).

And make sure it's a Mach harness with CD connections - there are non-CD Mach systems out there.
