Cliffs notes version.. 1.1
Bought car no radio.
looked in dash found rectangular plug
square plug
second square plug
smaller square plug
obviously car had tape deck and cd player at one point.
Car has aftermarket pocket where cd player was and open space where tape was.
Hooked up old radio from last ford and no sound unless volume all the way up. and then very lowww sound.
found a clip on the back of another old radio. some sort of bypass square plug that that fills the hole where the cd plaer plug would go. inserted it and bam volume. so now I have a radio but no cd.
Anyone with tape deck and cd player go to an aftermarket head unit? what harness did you use? I have the one with the rectangle and square connectors. premium sound line leveler i think its called. Anything else I might need?
