Mach 460 in a Fox

This may be a dumb question, but has anyone ever heard of putting a Mach 460 sound system inside of a Fox? I've got a 93 Mustang LX hatch and was just curious if it's possible and what wiring/mods would be needed. My friend's got a 98 and a Mach 460 in his and it sounds really good. Also, is it possible to use the Mach 460 with an aftermarket stereo? I've got a Kenwood. Thanks for the advice!

I would personally never put any factory sound system into a car. But to your question, I would guess no, as the mounting depth on these cars is insanely small. I've got some infinity kappa shallow mounts in there right now, but I dont' remember how good they sound (probably great, given the rep). I'm going to have to recommend fabricating some kicks, though

I had the Mach 1000 in my 02 GT and it was a pretty incredible sound system for a stock vehicle!

i had a aftermarket cd player running the 460 in my old 99 sounded even better. you can buy an adapter at circuit city to make it hook up

i was kinda curious about the same thing for my 89gt, especially the speakers mounted on the opposite side of the mirrors

the rear piece is one big molded piece housing the speakers and amps
