Hey everyone. Has anyone replaced all the speakers in your mustang equipped with the mach 460 sound system? I have a 97 cobra coupe, and would like to know what size speakers to reorder. I know their are 8 total. 6x8's on the door's and in back I know of. But are the tweeters 3.5"? Everywhere I see, they have 2.5" speakers, which they don't make replacement sets for...From all the pictures, they look like 3.5" speakers, like the ones in 87-93 Mustang Dashboards, but I could be wrong.

Look at ebay. The tweeters go for about 10 bucks a pair.

Keep the stockers unless they're blown. Do a search on this. the mach 460 amps run on different impedance and the speakers are crossed over. Aftermarket speakers won't sound correct and will probably put a higher load on the amps.
