Mach radio "Phone" button

I have noticed, as I am sure most other have too, that the mute button also has a phone icon on it. This has gotten me wondering if the Mach 460/1000 radios have some way of integrating a cell phone; possibly supporting a hands-free kit in some way.

Does anyone know if there are any functions behind that "phone" button? Are there any phone connections on the back of the unit?

I'm pretty sure it just means mute the radio when you're on the cellphone or something. I could be completely off though...
