Machine Shop Recommendation - Houston

I need a recommendation for a good machine shop in Houston.

Doing a stock rebuild on an '89 5.0 for a buddy and need to get the block, crank, and rods worked on.

Within the 610 loop is best!

If you don't mind going south. B&G Automotive Machine in Alvin. I've used them. They are pretty ford smart.

I would also try Harris Engine. They are a small shop, but been around for a while. Their shop is outside the loop on old Hwy 90. Also Houston Engine & Balance would be safe to as well. They are are at Shaver and the Beltway.

there used to a really good one in Humble on 1960 just east of town. don't know if it's still there or not but they had a great rep when i lived there. of course that was back in 82-85 though.

I've always had good results from westside machine and performance on emnora.That's kind of in the Blalock/ Kempwood area.

I had them rebuild a 460 for me. Runs like a top. Good prices too.

They are up on 45N and 610.
