Machine shops

Does anyone know a Good machine shop around the chicago Area? Has anyone heard of protech Engines in mokena Il.?? There right down the road from me, I just dont want to get ripped off. Im planning on having them hot tank my block and put new bearings in, plus new rings. Around how much should it cost to do this? I already have the bearings I just need to pick up the rings. Thanks for the help

well first was up I live in Indiana and in chicago I learned people like chevys
so thats what most shops work with and they use chevy $hit to machine your block. There is two shops here that deal with mostly ford and they do good work. If you want give me a call 219-306-6728 or nextel 111*209854*1

I was wondering Do they Do machining right there at the Delong Ford dealership in Dwight or does John Just know someone that can do it??
