The Magnaflows have definitely grown on me but not with all setups. I actually bought the Magnaflows over a year ago but I only had them on for 2 weeks. That was with a catted h-pipe and it just wasn't working for me (went back to 3-chamber Delta Flows that I ran for 10 years). I was recently cited for my exhaust and needed to tone it down fast so on went the Magnaflows. They sound better with the x-pipe, especially when I get up in the 4000 rpm range. It still howls at higher rpms,. I ran out and bought an off-road x-pipe after hearing 795.0pacecar's a few weeks back.
Haven't installed it yet but I can't wait to hear it. Haven't had any experience with Mac.
BTW, the Mangaflows made a big difference as far as quieting the car down in lower rpms. I had it inspected at an LA County Sheriff Station and they passed it without a fuss (LTs and all). I didn't hurt that I had the car smogged a few days earlier. If you're looking for an exhaust note that will send the comp running for cover these aren't it. lol Just one more reason why I like'em (see sig
).
Is the Racecraft stuff even available for Fox Bods now?
