Car ran really strong. Absolute tire burner. First and second could not hook well at all, too much low end torque. Last pass of the night I ran a 12.87@111 with a crappy tire roasting 1.85 60ft. I only have 255 16 nittos on her right now, boy are they crappy tires. My Mickeys on my 96 hook ten times better. I'll have to get some for the Fox. She definitely has 12.3's in here, I don't think 11's N/A though. Clutch was slipping bad doing 3rd gear burnouts too. Gonna have to drop the C6 in there. I'll lose some power but she'll be more consistent.

Cool, did you get that monster tuned yet? What she make?
Where you "on it" or just breaking in and not given her ****?
Did you say this was going to be a blower motor?

I was pretty much taking it easy on her. First pass I only did a half track then came around and pulled the plugs to make sure we weren't too lean. Next pass I was going to go all out but tried to do a third gear burnout and the clutch slipped, didn't heat the tires and when the tree came down I tried to launch hard and spun in 1st and 2nd. Third pass I took my buddies fiance for a spin. She'd never been in a "fast car" so he wanted to see how she'd react. We could only do 14 seconds at less than 100mph so I could only really show her the power off the line and let off about the 990. Then some idiot blows his motor and lets the car coast all the way down the track :nonono:. It was an hour plus delay because they were running Top Alcohol cars too and could not afford to have poor track prep. Finally got my last pass off about 11pm and ran the 12.87. Still didn't hook in first but caught in second a bit better and pulled real hard. It pulled nice at the topend too. Didn't expect that from a N/A pushrod car. I'm so used to my blower car pulling at the topend and really outrunning most of the other race cars with lowend torque but are sitting ducks at the topend. This car kept pulling like my 96. I know I left a lot on the table. I ran it once on Saturday but blew a tire. Just the bead went and it would hold when I put air in it but if I dropped it down to 14# she would let go. I needed less than 14#'s to get any hook so I just left it and ran the 96 the rest of the weekend.

Haven't got it tuned yet. I've got it booked in with Matt. Hope to see some decent numbers, hopefully close to 400rwhp. It feels strong anyways.

It is set up for a blower. I'm only running 8.85:1 compression, 28cc dished pistons. I'll put the power adder on her next year and see what she'll do. It'll be caged by that time.
