Made a short video of a N/A run 1st through 4th gear

Now you know why I say that 4.10's are too much gear for a 3650 on the street. :D

Mr. T has a message for you:

Enough said. 4.56's might be a bit much. 4.10's are on the hot side, but they work for the street. You just gotta coordinate your feet a little more.:nice: I never get tired of that picture. It can be used for anything!

It doesn't matter how well I work my feet, I can spin 1st and 2nd gear at will. Plus the air was so good tonight, that's why the 1-2 shift was so quick and that's why 2nd immediately smoked the tires. 2nd isn't usually quite that bad. When I spray on my 3.73's, I can't hook until I hit 3rd gear.

What does the Mr. T picture mean? :)

ive got a tr-3650 with 4.10's and love it... but then again ive got 315's on the back :)

and yes... 1st gear is fairly useless unless you roll into it if its cold :) but then again that 2nd gear hit blows them loose and youve gotta do some of that coutersteer thing :)

thats with 4.10's? your sig says 3.73's.. bit confused.. anyways, im very glad i went with 3.73's.. 2nd gear is my fav and it dont look like to much fun in that video. unless you always can afford huge tires and dont drive much, 4.10's just dont make sense to me.

I have 3.73's. We were just talking about 4.10's as being impractical for a street car. My car does put down quite a bit more power than the average bolt on N/A car, but it still just goes to show you that even with just 3.73's and 280 to the tire, you need some suspension tweaks and a very sticky tire to get good tractin on the street.

I can see 4.10's on the street in an auto just because the auto is softer, but then you would have to deal with the numercially higher O/D gear ratio on the highway.

What do you have the camera on in the car? That is a great angle. I'd love to take some video in mine at that angle. Let us know! Yeah...traction at the top of 1st and 2nd was nonexistant. Great sound too man!

Thanks. It's just a dig cam(Fuji Finepix S5200) and I set it up on the rear deck (package tray) right next to the right speaker. I kinda wedge it up against the rear window. Of course the daytime videos look much better.

The video quality isn't too shabby for a dig cam, but the sound is terrible in my opinion. And Photobucket changes the sound as well when they compress the video to stream it. My car is much louder and better sounding in person at WOT!:)
