Made a short video of a N/A run 1st through 4th gear

Hey laser, here is the vid of my GT. I also thought you had 4.10s...so thats why I didnt post it before. Didnt know we had that in common . And I agree on the STREET, 3.73s are MORE than enough. At the track I needed more gear....it was just starting to really pull in 4th as a crossed the traps.

thats kewl im glad i went with 3.73 also. i am putting them in friday (i think) so i will have before and after videos for people on the fence between gears to help more. this video was testing my camera mount on stock gears.

Nice. That video should be sticky'ed so that whenever someone asks "should I do 4.10's like everyone else", they can see the serious traction issues that come along with those 4.10's.

I'm on 245 KDW's...can i handle 3.73s or will i break loose all the time?

3.73's are good for an n/a car without cams. But when you add some lumpy cams, then you need 4.10's. The 3.73's in my car with the VT Stage 2's sucked bad, it took forever to get to the powerband. But with the 4.10's i'm always right where I want to be, altho I burn my tires off a lot more. I drive my car everyday to and from work and school, and 90 miles on the highway every week and I don't regret the 4.10's a bit. I couldn't imagine going back to 3.73's, but thats me.

Yea, seriously....I couldnt imagine how the car would act if I had 4.10s. I would have NO traction at all. LOL
