Made my own strut tower brace

What color should I paint it?

If you're just gonna spray-bomb paint it, I would suggest using wheel spray paint because it is durable and can take elevated temperatures without chalking. Plasti-kote makes wheel paint in silver, charcoal, steel, gold, and semi-gloss black.

Curious, how much does it weigh compared to the factory brace?

I am using left over silver and clear 500 degree ceramic paints from my intake, so they should definitely hold up pretty good.

The car didn't come with a factory STB (no cobras did), so I don't have anything to compare it to. If someone wants to post up the weight of a stock GT STB, I can weigh mine and compare I guess.

That looks really good! I voted silver, I love that color .

Now, how about making one to clear my 418?
