I apparently bought the wrong MAF for my 1992 GT.I was at the junkyard and picked one by memory. Close but no cigar. I was trying to upgrade to the F2VF-12B579-A2A and bought a second hand F3VF-12B579-A2A. Anybody know what the application for the F3VF-12B579-A2A is?

Yes there is a way, try entering the part number in Google... Here's what I found after doing a little bit of research on Google, it appears to be a Lincoln MarkVIII MAF. Although it is calibrated for 24# injectors and an 80mm MAF sensor, it has a different curve and will likely cause your Pony to run lean...
