Hello. Im swapping a 90 mustang 5.0 into an older truck and will be using a 95 Mustang maf. I'm fabricating a cold air inlet using the existing opening in the core support just beside the radiator. Since this kinda acts like a ram air effect I'll probably fab some type of diffuser or shield so as not to create turbulence in the air duct. Any advice/tips you can offer on that would be greatly appreciated. Also, does it make a difference how far the maf is mounted from the throttle body or air filter? Thanks!
