Alright, so I got my car dyno'd,

230RWHP/296RWTQ

92 notch 5.0 w/ vortech S-trim 9lb
stock heads/cam
all bolt ons
full mac headers-cats-mufflers
Fender CAI
30lb injectors
upgraded throttle body
Pro-M MAF(says calibrated for 19c on the side, yes i know this is a problem, was all done before i got the car)

so yes my dyno numbers are VERY low, i'm aware.
my peak HP AND tq is at 4000 RPM, then starts losing power
the car is running VERY rich (below 10 off the chart on dyno sheet)
could this ALL have to do with the MAF calibrated at 19, I would assume that could cause serious problems, so my question is
what is the minimum part i can replace, do i have to buy an entire new Pro-M for 30lb or can I buy a part that costs less?
also any other ideas that might be causing my dyno numbers to be low please let me know, thank you very much.

you can send it back to pro-m and have then calibrate it for any injectors of your choice. your numbers are horrible what did the dyno runner tell you? i have seen people pull those numbers and better with just exhaust??????? how is your compression? sorry man but there is no way your engine is soaking up 9psi with those numbers.

ooh man ya i just noticed that you have 30 lb injectors on the car but are running 19lb mass air meter. you need to get that corrected im sure that isnt why your engine is only makeing those numbers you might have shot rings.

You have a few options if you dont wanan send the meter back for a 'recal'. You can get a custom chip burned by a tuner who knows what their doing to custom make a maf transfer function (best way) you could run a pro m remote optimizer to fix that or buy one of the expensive tuning devices and tune yourself.

ok, so the FMU, since I have 30lb injectors, the FMU needs to be what disc? 6:1? and how do I check to see what disc i have?

this needs to be done as WELL as calibrating the pro-m to 30lb injectors correct? (plan to order pro-m racing remote optimizer)

thanks for answers/feedback

seriously... 88stangmangt, did you even read the thread or peoples responses?
your posts dont look like it. typos too i think?... :-P
yes i did but im just wondering with all that boost and those numbers where all that power is going i didnt think a outta tune maf would cost you 100+hp who cares about typos? are you yourself perfect? you still got the point didnt you so in the end all was well.

Hey, you wanted to know how you could fix the thing with the least amount of parts, and you also wanted everyone's opinions on what else could be giving you the crappy HP numbers. Maybe you forgot you asked for that? Hope you don't criticize my typing or inability to read post too LOL. Good luck, and let us know how you progress. :p
