What've you done to keep the damn tips from vibrating loose every 10 mins? i put mine on yesterday and it's getting annoying becuase i've had to tighten the driver's side tip (set-screw) twice already

Loctite (thread locker) you can pick it up at any autoparts store. Used it on mine when installed 3 yrs ago and never had to re-tighten or adjust since.

A couple spot welds and mine has been fine ever since. My tip kept coming loose not because of the set screw, but because the tip wouldnt tighten down onto the pipe all the way.

I dont have a normal catback exhaust, but my tips are fully welded and they can support my weight easily. I weigh about 180 and i can jump on mine and doesnt hurt them at all, but my hangers are really strong too.

new question: how would this exhaust sound with a upr catted x? i heard the snakebite cobra on youtube and it sounds like an xpipe, and i think that car is the best sounding one i've ever heard. Anyone got any experience with x's and the magnaflow? (except the magnaflow x, i can't afford it)
