Magnaflow cats

I had my magnaflow cats welded into my O/R prochamber. I guess I can't call it an O/R prochamber any more. The cats are more like kittens. I surprised how small they are-much smaller than stock cats. The appear to be about 12" long and less than 10" in diameter. I think it sounds a little deeper, but maybe not as loud. It doesn't sound as raw. Overall I guess it cleaned up the sound. The best part is no exhaust fume smell.

I have no idea if that would work. I could be wrong, but since the high flow cats are shorter, it would not work because too much pipe would be cut out making the mid pipe to short to reach the manifold and over the axle pipe.

you know these cars have high flow cats in them stock right??

These cats are welded into a Prochamber. I was running an O/R prochamber for a little while before going to a catted prochamber. I didn't want to cut both the prochamber and stock h pipe and splice them into each other and into the stock cats. This way I still have my stock H and cats and a prochamber with high flow cats. Stock H and cats with magnapacks sound good, but prochamber with high flow cats sound even better.

I wouldn't say that. I can see through the JBA high flow cats, but couldn't see through the stock ones.

guess i worded that wrong compared with like all other applications.. they are high flow cats considering other mustangs with stock cats and such.. guess i wouldn't have spent the money a mid muffler set up would fix up a raspy h or x pipe if that was the reason.. or maybe you have emissions there?? anyway just my .02

More of emissions. Here in Cali it can be a big fine if you don't have cats. I was a little worried when I drove my car, especially around cops. The cats didn't change the sound too much. I think it's just as loud as the O/R prochamber. It didn't eliminate the trumpeting but it did reduce it.

guess i always got away with it as a kid lol mississippi doesn't care if you have straight headers or cut outs lol as long as the horn works and the tint isn't under 27% ;) and i know i had a few with just straight pipes
