Magnaflow for V6

Im thinking about buying the 16605 system for my V6. For anyone who bought this system, can I use the factory GT take offs instead of the Magnaflow mufflers? I like the GT takeoffs and dont want to increase sound anymore than necessary. If I can use them I would just ebay the Magnaflows.

I was hoping Pypes would come out with a true dual setup for the V6. When I e-mailed them in June they said they would not even start working on the V6 system until Oct at the earlyist.

Twofocused, I am pretty sure the GT takeoffs would work as long as the pipes from the Magnaflow were 2 1/2" in diameter. The length should be there to connect, if not an adapter should fill in any variance. Also, would you be buying the whole catback system? What would you be doing with the mufflers? You would be better off using the GT mufflers and just having a muffler shop fabricate the pipes? May be I am missing something here.

I have this kit on my car, the magnaflow mufflers are angled down and start near your axle. They are slim, striaght through muffler design. So, in order to use traditional mufflers, youw will have to cut the magnaflow mufflers out and use custom pipe to your GT take offs.
