I looked at this exhaust Saturday on this web sight and it was $299. It is a shame the price increase is so drastic. Well guess I won't be ordering now.

The deal is that shops weren't selling Magnaflow as much as other brands b/c MF wanted it's suggested price to be lower before for it's customers. The shops would push other brands b/c they made more money of off the other brands since the other manufactures allowed the shops to offer a higher suggested price. The MF rep explained this the other week or so. Unfortunate ? yes. Call and ask. Magnaflow really didn't want to do that, but shops started leaving them hanging on pushing MF products.
Sucks. And most people don't know this so their just mad at MF. Not fair really. Oh well. I have all the exhaust I need !

Right now I only have the money for one thing so it will be gears. I am getting a really good deal, 325 installed they provide gear and install kit

The price of stainless steel is up about 10-15% (depending on grade) compared to a year ago. That doesn't help keep the price of s/s exhaust systems down!

Bro, all you have to do is "chat" them or email them. They simply can't advertise that price, BUT they will give it to you. I just got my exhaust put on today I ordered from them on Friday last week for 299.00 + shipping.

If you really want them, ask for that price. As for you really wanting them, are you unhappy with the flows? The sound change will be drastic. Oh, and if you are getting rid of the flows, I call dibs.
