To tell you the truth i wasn't really looking for hp gains, more for sound and appearance now. But hp is always a plus.

You guys are trying to get me to bust my block... Once i get my fuel pump problems fixed im looking at around 525 ish at the rear wheels, and now your saying I could have another 20 or so held back by my 2 chamber flows? (Could Have being the key words, gotta love bench racing)

94SC50: thanks for the vids... I really like the sound of the magnoflows, wasn't quite what i was shouting for but they will deffently work.

What size track was that with you and the silver mustang? Also what were the times against the vette? The video got cut off short or something...

I love the sound of my car since I put my magnaflows on. Those 2 videos are dead on. I need to get some pics on the tail pipes. They are growing on me the more I see them.

I was NA with the Vette and ran a 14.02 @ 98 mph and the other video was on an 1/8 mile with spray.

Remember that those are regular magnaflows. Magnapacks, sound a million times more burly and aggressive than that. So if that wasnt quite what u were looking for then i would look at the magnapacks.

Yes the paks are a lot louder than the regular magnaflow.

I have the magnaflow magnapacks on my 94. I love the sound, but I ditched the 3.5" tips becuase they look GHETTO.... a 2.5" exhuast with all of a sudden huge tips looks like the fart cans on alot of imports around here. I went 2.5" and it is mean as hell sounding.

you have magnapacks... I have tryed to find them and they say they dont sell them for a 94, just for the 4.6's. Where did you get them and what was the partnumber...

I have called magnaflow directly and they said they don't have a kit for 94.. But then again the 94 kit says 94-98 so wouldn't a 96-98 magnapak kit work on my car?

Just got off the phone with need-4-speed about the magnapacks.. They called up magnaflow and talked to somebody who knew what they were talking about. I guess they started adding the propper hangers so they would fit 94-95.

So then I called up performance paddler to see what kinda price they could get me and they gave me a hell of deal on the magnapack system.. 365 shipped!!! Im not sure if im supposed to put that on the internet sence there is like a advertised price clause or something with magnaflow.

Actually there was no price differene between the magnapack vs the magnaflow systems.

Anyways from just talking to them they said my car should be load as hell... Something interesting, The magnapacks are not offered for 93 and down... So if it sounds good the fox guys may get jealous.. lol

94sc50...man your car is awsome. Its the new "Model" for my car to look like in years to come. Would u mind taking a few shots right next to your wheel so i can see how your tips look behind the fender, and also mabey one from you laying on the ground looking at the rear fender so i can see the tips? In other words i just wanna get all different angles of how it looks so i can decide wether i want it or not.

i think magnaflow tips looks stupid. I wouldn't put them on my car if I was paid. The mufflers are nice sounding, but those tips suck. Also, I don't think they are slash cut enough. The mac's look better.

Yeah, I just converted the 98 kit to fit mine, the only difference was the hangers. Easy enough to fix.

The mufflers themself ar ethe same as just about everything else, so you could just substitute them in for magnaflows I beleive.

But IF mac builds there exhaust like any of there other products you couldn't pay me to put them on.. Lets face it, mac isn't know for quality. Even though i haven't heard any complaints about their exhaust products.

Plus magnaflow comes with a lifetime warrenty...

Whats wrong with the tips besides you can visually see that they are tips at a certian angle? I just opened the box up and those things look good...

well these came with hangers mounted on the magnapacks. Did yours come that way, where exactly did you have to add the hanger?

SLP is da ****zle!!!

If I was you I wouldn't be looking at MAC or Magnajunk, SLP is the loudest, and best flowing exhaust you can buy, and trust me it sounds the best too. Mine sounds real nice, especially with some bullet race mufflers on there. But SLP is the way to go man.

Really, i was told to stay away from SLP cause it sounds like an old farm truck exhaust... (guess they meant it sounded like cheap ol glass packs)

Which is sorta funny... these magnapacks remind me of huge ass glass packs.. I would put money on it that these will compete if not beat the SLP load mouth exhaust in flow and loadness...

MagnaFlow made a huge mistake when they switched to the tips they use now...They lost my 500$ for a catback anyways. Mac is the only company who makes full length tips so they will get my business. I dont care if it might rust..i live in Arizona

Uh, no. SLP may be the loudest and best flowing but IMO it is among, if not THE worst sounding catback available for our cars. Maybe they sound better on the 4.6 Mustangs; I sure hope so because the SLP makes a 5.0 sound like a big Chevy truck. Not exactly the sound I want out of a sports car. Granted the SLP may sound better with longtubes; I've only heard it with shorties.

But hey, those rolled tips do look good.

Just put on my magnapacks today.... WOW!!! FREAKIN LOAD!!! Those babies sound loader at 3k then the flows did at 6.

It is not like glass packs or a truck exhaust. It is more like a big block sound. It sounds like a freakin race car actually.

Im going to see if i can figure out my digital video camera and get some video or audio clips on here...

The guys that were there when i started it up said they thought it was completely bad-ass and that they had never heard a mustang sound like that.

They gave me less then two weeks till i get pulled over for it...

BTW: Does anybody know the specifics on classifying your car as a show car?
