Has anyone installed the magnaflow true x crossover pipe into their stock h pipe? I think its part #10791?, where you cut out the "h" section and weld in the magnaflow "x". If so, what gains in hp and tq did you get with that mod alone, or with an aftermarket exhaust? I want to get a magnaflow w/cats and trying to save $ by getting the true x instead of springing a lot more $ for the whole x pipe.

youll gain more hp/tq from the whole pipe because you will still have the 4 or 6 cats on the car instead of the 2 highflow 1's from magnaflow.

Just save up and get the Catted X, or better yet, if you live in a state that does not do visual inspections, it will pass the code test and you pass emissions

Just get the complete pipe. You will get 2.5" tubing and two high flow cats. I just installed mine last thursday night. Very easy install and noticeable gains....
