Magnaflow X-pipe with cats...

Yeah I know but there's no reason it won't work with the V6.

wouldn't you have to cut the flanges off the front to mate it to the V6 exhaust manifolds? i have not seen a side by side comparo of the V6 and V8 exhaust from engine back. just seems like they would have different manifold outlets...just different enough to cause problems.

why spend 450 for that when you can spend 450 and get gt take offs xpipe and all the hardware to do this

Hey afixer---as you probably recall, I'm gearing up to duplicate your exhaust.

Question---what type of pipe did they use to patch the sections together? Stainless or aluminized?

I chatted with one shop, and he doesn't even stock stainless----which to me seems like the way to go! So maybe I need to find another shop (or take him some stock to patch it) I don't want that section to fail prematurely.

Our daily drives are SHORT---like 4-5 miles each way. So the engine/exhaust barely gets warmed up on most days...
