wouldn't you have to cut the flanges off the front to mate it to the V6 exhaust manifolds? i have not seen a side by side comparo of the V6 and V8 exhaust from engine back. just seems like they would have different manifold outlets...just different enough to cause problems.

Hey afixer---as you probably recall, I'm gearing up to duplicate your exhaust.

Question---what type of pipe did they use to patch the sections together? Stainless or aluminized?

I chatted with one shop, and he doesn't even stock stainless----which to me seems like the way to go! So maybe I need to find another shop (or take him some stock to patch it) :rolleyes: I don't want that section to fail prematurely.

Our daily drives are SHORT---like 4-5 miles each way. So the engine/exhaust barely gets warmed up on most days...
