I have a friend who builds performance engines (mainly 2.3 stuff) He showed me a bearing that looked a little rough and then showed me how in some way the rod and cap was magnefied. These were brand new manley rods when he put the engine together and he didnt notice it, now after a seson of dirt track racing it comes back to be freshend and there magnified. Not just a little like picking up metal dust, I mean I took a cap off and could pick up a 2in long 1/4" bolt.
My guess is that somehow they never got de maged from Manley after they were magnafluxed. Anyone have any experiance with this or heard of this ?
