I was looking for a guide on what parts should be changed every 10k,20k miles etc. I would like to do as much preventative maintenace as possible to keep her running strong, to date she has a little over 10K on her. Any advice is appreciated.

Check your owners manual for the maintenance schedule...It will tell you what needs to be done and at what mileage. The most important thing is changing your oil and filter every 3000 miles & keeping the exterior clean and protected. Seeing how you live in NYC you should have a winter beater so you can put your stang away from the snow and salt. My stang has never seen old man winter!!!!

You can find one on ebay for around 10 bucks. I know I did.

every 5k miles: change oil and filter, rotate tyres(back to front, no crossing sides)
every 15k miles: above plus change fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs, trans fluid and filter, coolant, diff fluid, power steering fluid, usually brake pads(hard on my brakes)
every 30k miles: serpentine belt

I've had my car for about 15k miles now. I change my oil and filter every 3k, I've changed my fuel filter once, my spark plugs once, my brake pads once. My car has about 52k now. You s hould also change your engine coolant, ive been lazy I guess. Anyone know how often to change the transmission/clutch fluid or brake fluid on a 5 spd?

ive also cleaned my K&N once.
