Stupid Question, but where do I put the jack and jack stands when I jack the car up for a little work(oil change, lube, exhaust, etc.) I know this shouldnt be hard, but this is the first time Ive done this stuff in my driveway instead of the shop I used to have access to. Looking underneath the car, seems to be one big floor pan and no chasis what so ever. Just thought I would ask before doing something stupid. Also, Im about to drop the oil a second time and go with a full synthetic instead of the motorcraft blend. any suggestions on brand, weight, and filter are appreciated.

Front: Jack location directly under the k-member (not the oil pan - LOL). It should be a greyish color, you do not want to life where it is black (oil pan). 
Rear: Do NOT jack at the pumpkin! You can use a block of wood and lift at one of the rear subframe locations - using the wood will help disperse the pressure point, so once it's up in the air you can then easily secure the car with jackstands and lower the jack.
It sounds harder than it looks, but once you glance under there it will all make sense.
If you are reluctant, have a competent friend come over and help you because you do NOT want to get squished.
FWIW: Always use jackstands if you are going to crawl under the car, better safe than sorry (don't rely on the jack by itself).
