Hi gang. I've been a Stangnet visitor since the site first started and I finally decided to dive into posting instead of reading...
Anyway, I've got the following modifications lined up for my Bullitt:
1. Full exhaust system replacement
2. Suspension system enhancement (springs/struts/shocks)
My need for advice revolves around the headers. I've read countless posts about people advising for and against dropping the K-member for the header swap. I'm installing FRPP short-tube headers, BTW.
My thought is this: since I'm replacing the struts and springs up front anyway, I'm leaning toward dropping the K-member and taking that route vs jacking/rocking the engine and leaving the K-member.
Can anybody shed some light on the subject? Potential pitfalls to avoid??
