Ok, so I got back to college today from my vacation, and i went to roll my window up in the parking lot and its stuck down...i took the pannel off to try and see what the problem is and I cant find anything nor see a problem. The window is in the down position and wont budge to go up..this creates a major problem seeing as I am at school and dont want people to screw with it..i dont have a lot of tools up here, so I put the car cover on it and wanted to post this to see if someone could help me or had an idea...thanks guys...

May be a broken roller lodging things up, or a bad regulator. you may have to apply a little "pressure" to get it raised, or detach it and try to work the mechanism up without the glass. Loads of fun, good luck.

Don't push too hard, the materials inside are not heavy duty and can bend/break.

Sounds to me like a roller has jumped off it's track. Visually inspect the scissors for anything out of place.

Sorry, was thinking you had the cover off...right ? I can't remember the exact location of the frame when it's down. But I wanna say there is something to grab onto. But not too hard like Edbert said. Stuff is kinda weak.

Window may have gone past the stop and is stuck trying to go up past it. Simple bolt loosened and re-adjusted would fix that. Had it on my '66 just a month ago.

your window might be doing what mine does, when it gets rolled down all the way,it passes the window felts and gets under them, make sure the glass is centered inbetween the felts and not pushing up on them

If you don't have a lot of time and need it fixed right away - go to a local glass company and have them take care of it.

Much better than getting it vandalized or stolen because the window is down. Even just imagine a bird going in there...

This is probably not it,

but my passenger side window for some reason tries to push more forward instead of up. I have to pull on the window towards the rear of the car while rolling it up because it will get halfway up and not move anymore. So see if the window has any wiggle to it.
