making a mustang ride like a caddy

i'm getting tired of this sporty ride. i had planned on getting the eibach prokit, but decided i would rather have my stang ride like a nice smooth caddy.
whats the best setup for this?

ride like a caddy, not a chance. If you think it is too stiff stock I think you should sell your car and buy a gto.

on the same note, sorta, does anyone have kyb's? they are affordable and brothers sells a kit for lowered cars i might get, im curious how they ride...

If you want your Stang to ride smooth you should minimize the lowering. The more drop the stiffer a spring has to be to compensate for decreased spring travel. However, I don't care for that 4X4 look so I compromised: I have KYB's w/Mach 1 springs (1/2" drop). Fairly smooth ride, plenty of ground clearance and good handling. I've had "slammed" cars in my younger days and no matter how cool it looked it was still a PITA! I just don't want to deal with that anymore.

Buy a #$%^&* Caddy

The stock setup will result in the smoothest ride. Get some Gabriel SVT shock and struts from AutoZone for less than $100 for all four and return your car to stock ride height by chaging your springs back to stock if you have changed them previously.

well, I have heard of this before. I would start out by putting a stock type suspension set up back in the car and then you should think about buying really powerful audio system and a CD of a cadillac's ride on a road. The only tough part was matching the sound output to road variations

No doubt. The stock ride of the GTO is a little on the soft side (especially for me). When I go back and drive a stock goat after driving mine (a lot of suspension mods) it is like a caddie (not really that bad but you get the point).
