I was trying to be nice and let my old man take her out for a spin, he hasn't driven her since I did the 4.10's and o/r x. He runs through 1,2,3 then I tell him to throw it into 5th and see how it feels compared to before. I see him push the stick to the right and start pulling back I start screaming what the crap are you doing?!!!1 He got off another 2 attempts of trying to blow my tranny before he finally grinds the gears and he's like "oh I forgot its only a 5spd". Even though he is 6ft 3, 280 and built like a roider, I still forced him to pullover so I could reach back and monkey slap the living crap out of him.

Shortly after we go to pick up the pizza and bread sticks we ordered, I decide, and I don't know why for the life of me because I have never even had an open soda in my car, to give him a little taste of how she handles around a corner. I come to my turn slam her into 2nd to kick out the rear into the turn. As I do that I feel nothing but warmth on the side of my face and back. Thats right tomato sauce allover me and the interior. So now I have a sauce stain in my back seat on the carpet.

Anyone know of a good stain remover?

It's sad to read that you talk about your dad like that.

Have a nice day.

You need to seriously chill out man. My dad only got one 10 minute ride in my Mustang before he died. Just relax you can get her cleaned up and I doubt he hurt your tranny.

Why do you think your Dad would be interested in you getting the tail out when he had food in his hand....

Wee Doggy! You should try getting buffalo wing sauce and the OIL out of the seats, now thats a challenge. them cloth seats soaked it in fast and I knew I was doomed.

My dad screams thru the gears in my car, hes grinded the gears a couple of times(he hasn't owned a stick in years). Its some of the best bonding moments we've had. And I know each time maybe the last time we have together. My car makes us both feel like teenagers again.

Ok, I forgot that not everyone is used to my familial relationship, but my dad is only 43 and I am going on 26 so me and my old man are like best friends. I mean my dads idea of fun his hiding around a corner and then attacking me while my back is turned, and he swings at me full contact. So when I say my dad is a loser, or a child molester, its all in good fun and he plays along.

That being said I am sorry for everyones losses there but lighten up.

And for the record I got the stain up with some oxy-clean the wifey had laying around.

The only thing I do while the car is moving is drink water. IF it spills...it's just water. I do transport food in there, but I drive easily while doing so to avoid messes.

1) LMAO, sounds like a scene out of a movie;

2) I am 7 years older than your Dad and he should know where 5th is. I mean you did say five. Monkey slap him again.

3) I have been guilty of eating in the Cobra (past car) after a long night and then going to booger king before calling it a night. Of course they fill the coke way to the top where the fluid touches the lid so you have to take a big slurp and get brain freeze. I think they do this on purpose and laugh after you leave. Put food on floor behind passenger seat and reach for french fries between lights and shifting in city traffic. No mess. I get an award!

Sounds like it will be a golden moment after a few years.

Tell me about it, I am only 5'9 180lbs, so trying to man up to this beast is no easy task. Especially when he is always trying to touch me inappropriately

My Dad taught me how to drive in a 1966 Mustang. He bought the car used (it was 2 years old at the time) after completing his first tour as a helicopter pilot in Viet Nam. He's going to be 77 in three weeks. When I got the 07 GT, the first thing he said was, "damn that looks just like the one I bought after I got back from Viet Nam, it's even the same color." He hasn't driven it yet and probably never will, but we've shared a few long drives and some good times in the car.

I wish my Dad was around to spill crap all over my car and rag on my gears. Consider yourself lucky. :\

P.S. I keep a spray bottle "Shout!" and a cotton towel handy in the trunk at all times.
