I originally purchased a rebuilt manual choke 670 avenger (older style). I had to return the carb 2X because they kept mailing me an electric choke version. Finally they just sent me the kit to change the electric to manual. I have the parts in a ziplock bag but no instructions.

I know alot of people just remove all of this stuff but it is necessary at my elevation.

Anyone have a good diagram?

Thanks

Any of this? Or something else in the Holley tech library...

Just be sure to go to Tractor Supply for the cable...about $10 and it's a true multi-strand SS cable. Works like it was in teflon.

Thanks, but I am looking for a step by step or a exploded view of where all of these pieces go. I have that manual and it just shows a picture of the outside of the carb with the manual choke. There are alot more parts behind the scene that have to mesh perfectly.

Which choke kit do you have?

Choke Kits - summitracing.com

Or part number?

Or, why not use the electric choke?

How good is "their" customer service? Why not just return it for a refund?

Just by doing a Google search, there are quite a few sources for that manual choke model.

I have a Holley 600 with a manual choke, but never really had to use it. One day I decided to install the cable for the choke, but was never really able to pull on the cable to return the choke to the open position.
