Agree 100%. Auto's are much more consistent.--There's an a** hole locally who drives a 15.9 second car who always takes home the trophy. Because his car doesn't have knock sensors and he is consistent as hell. If this is your daily driver and you just like to putt around on your way to/from work auto. If this is your daily driver, you have no kids, and like to play a little to/from work go manual. It's all preference.
I have another daily driver, before 2 months ago all my car's where manual. While I have owned mostly manual's my life, they do get old from time to time.(after driving mostly manual for 6 years)- If I had only 1 car, I would choose auto. (having a kid, and being a "busy body." I don't think I would EVER own an auto Stang though. If your 23 or under, go manual. They are more enjoyable.

I would say not many....

Driven low 10 second stick shifted cars. Im sure I could get used to a mid 9 second one!

It would be one wild ride....

You would have to start off slow,so you dont put it into the gaurd wall. The differance between a low ten and a mid nine is more than you would think.

Im sure it is, but thats why I have worked my way up, so when Im running one, I dont put it into a wall! My theory has always been start slow and when you get to where things get scary and dangerous, your more prepared!
