Swapped my TKO for a Lentech AOD. To start the car, I still have to press the clutch pedal to the floor to engage the clutch interlock. I just pulled off the clutch pedal, and dropped the interlock mechanism. Here's what I see:
- one black terminal has 3 blue/red wires.
- one grey terminal has 2 blue/yellow and 2 black/white wires.
The grey terminal connects to the interlock in such a way that when the pedal is pushed to the floor, the circuit is opened, so I'm guessing that this is the cruise control circuit (and perhaps something else?).
By default then, I'm guessing that the black terminal with the three blue/red wires is for the clutch neutral safety switch. If I jump the two leads on this plug, will this be the proper fix to get the car to behave like a true automatic?
I'm assuming it won't start again until I jump the appropriate wires, so your help is appreciated.
