I am swapping my three speed manual for a C4, in my 66 coupe. Shifters for the 67-69 are much more prevalent than the 65-66. Are there any differences besides the bezel styling?

But if that's a Toploader 3 speed, you're trading a bullit proof transmission for a fragile C-4.

I had a three speed stick in my first Mustang. It was a kick in the pants to drive! My friend with a four speed Chevelle couldn't believe I only had a three speed.

Yea, that's what I said. FRAGILE Lifetime warantees are especially useful for C-4's. But it's still a bitch pulling and replacing them.

pulling a tanny takes about a 6 pack of beer to pull, so its not that bad or long. nothing is bullet proof and i can break about everything. so having a warrenty, especially lifetime is SWEET. but deep down im a manual man. my first mustang (the one im building now) is the only auto ive ever owned.
