Hope you guys aren't sick of talking about underdrives, but I did a search and didn't find much talk about March.

They offer two different steel sets: 1000 Performance Series and 1015 Power and Amp. It looks like the difference between the two sets is that the P&A has a smaller alternator pulley. So I was wondering if anyone had experience with these kits and could help with a recomendation. My car has great cooling and charging, but will I see any changes with the pulleys?

The crank and water pump pulleys are the same in the two kits. There is a $26 price difference between the two kits and was wondering if it's worth it for a smaller alternator pulley.

March 1000 - 2-3/8"
Stock OEM - 2-1/8" ???
March 1015 - 1-11/16"

HAD them for two years, now sitting in a box in my attic. Didn't really see a difference in power levels and the smaller pulley was killing my amps.

That's what I was thinking too - buying the cheaper kit and just use the the crank and water pump pulleys.

I've had the March Power & Amp pulleys on my car for 9+ years and I've never had a charging (no big amp) or over heating issue even in stop and go traffic with the March Power and Amp pulleys.

My car is 5spd. and no A/C, so I'll just use the crank and W/P pulleys then. Anybody know of a used set for sale?

I had to buy an ASP 1 7/8" alt pulley for mine.

You WANT the smaller pulley with underdrives. The smaller pulley spins the alt faster. This helps because the underdrives spin the accessories slower. So by running the smaller alt pulley, you compensate and overdrive the alt slightly. I'd only do this with underdrive crank.

Stock is 2 1/16" or something like that, I run an ASP 1 7/8" OD pulley on my Alt and it's perfect. ZERO charging issues at idle.
