Anybody running the Mark VII front spindles? I'm planning on putting them on my Capri to capture larger brakes and 5-lug. I'm also going to run SVO rims...Just curious what people have done as far as lower control arms...

svo rims will fit those spindles/rotors, bullitts and fr500's and those alike will not fit unless you use a spacer around 1" which is very unsafe... it bolts up fine to the oe control arms, as well its not the best option, if you can get some cheap 94-98 v6 or gt spindles/rotors/calipers they will work fine with those wheels, and they will allow you to use different wheels if you decide to swap them in the future, we picked some up at the picknpull a couple weeks ago, for $85 for the whole swap, and it drops in and fits great!! just somethin to think about...

You don't need Mark specific spindles to go 5-lug. You can use the 87+ Mustang spindles and then buy 5-lug Mark 7/SVO rotor.

You'll also need the calipers and lines of course

As for control arms...stick with what you have or upgrade to the Ford Racing control arm set

I"ve got the spindles, rotors, brakes, etc. from the Mark. I've still got the whole car right now. Hopefully going to the chipper this week though...And yes, I pulled the rear axle also...
