Mark VIII fan question....

I don't know - but it's pretty easy to check. Fire it up and hold a paper towel in your hand behind it - if it's pulling air across the rad you'll see it blow the towel. If it tries to suck the towel into the fan from the engine side, it's blowing air out the front.

Alright...so I guess my next question..Is this fan a pusher or a puller??

The fan as used in the MkViii was a puller - that is, it mounted on the engine side of the radiator (between radiator and water pump) and PULLED air across the radiator.

Can you unshroud the mystery and tell us more about what you're dealing with? Kind of hard to help when you've told us as little as you have.
