Guys:

I recently had my Mustang restored then transported from Cali to MD. During the move the car was scratched a few times. Needless to say, I'm in need of a skilled painter. Stangnet led me to my first guy so I thought I'd try again. I'm located in Upper Marlboro - off 301. Recommendations?

it all depends

he would have to look at the job. Think about it, it's all about the amount of work needed. Every car is different.

your best bet is to remove the panels and ship them back to Hong.

I wish I could ship them back to Hong. Problem is that the roof is scratched...along with the rocker panel.

Thanks for the recommendation, 68GT500KR_Vert.

did hong give you extra paint?
your main problem is going to be trying to match the color
good luck.

how about having the shiping company ship the car back to hong
and have them pay for it since it was there mistake.

Silver, I actually have the paint that was used, so I don't have to worry about color match. I just need a skilled painter than can fix the scratches. A buddy suggested just "touching up" the paint myself but I don't know about that.

shouldt be that hard to match most paint store have a eye that takes a picture and can give u a blendable matck and a good painter will belend it in and uu will not know where the new paint starts and the old ends
