I have a '88 GT "California car" with factory mass air. A friend of mine told me that it has a different connection than his '91. Is this true? If it is were can I buy an after market Mass air for my '88? Thanks.
Actually, the 88 cars do have different connectors IIRC. The wiring is the same, just the connector itself is different.
So if you swing by a junkyard and snip off the standard connector from another Mustang (or maybe other cars likea Taurus will use the same), you can swap them. The key is to use a small screwdriver and release the clips that hold the wire ends into the connector. Then just pop them in the new connector in the same order.
