Will the electronics out of another 5.0 vehicle work on a stock mustang mass air? I took the electronics out to use on my c&l. Someone else needs my meter to put on his car till his pro-m comes back from being calibrated.
No i know my mass air will work on his car but i need to get the electronics. I went to the junkyard and they had no 5.0 stangs. They did have some trucks and lincolns. I just need to know if i can take the electronics out of another meter from a non mustang.
A word of caution though...
If this person does not have 19lb injectors, then all this work will be worth spit. The stock MAF/MAS will not work well with larger injectors.
Basically if it says F1Z on the top, it will work. This is assuming the MAS is going in a stock 5.0 HO MAF tube (55mm).

Thanks for the info. He has 24lb injectors now with a pro-m mass air. His car is totaly stock exept for that and mufflers. I'm putting my 19's in his car and taking his 24's. After my h/c/i swap i think i need to upgrade.
