Some of you have read my thread in talkl...i have an 89 347 stroker....455rwtq and 397rwhp with a 75 shot....the prob i had was..i had d&d lowers and upper ca's on the freeway one ay i dropped it from 5th to 3rd with the spray and the right rear ca snapped and i almost lost my car and myself....ok i wanna get the Maximum Motorsport ca's but the lowers are 450 bucks which i know are worth it...so i need to save...my question is...can i throw the stock units on and beat on it a little??? or is that not a good idea...im not sure if there was a defect in the d&d's are thats theres too much torque....which i highly doubt...any help would be appreciated....the car has an eibach 1.5 lowerin all around....heres some pics of the ca that broke

stop spraying until you can afford something better and take it easy on it ya meathead. obviously the stockers will hold up for a bit if you take it easy...

i have no doubt stockers will get you buy for a while but i doubt they would last long if you continue to do 5th to 3rd gear drops on the juice. i would also wonder how long your tranny and rear end could take that kinda abuse.

if you box the stockers they might hold up for a bit till you get some MM CA's
