Max valve lift with stock pistons

The amount of cam your engine can take is more determined by the duration of the cam than the lift, and for the most part most cams will clear the stock pistons just fine, most people notch their pistons to accomodate larger than stock valve sizes, what year is the engine and what cam are you looking at installing, no matter what people say will clear you should check for ptv clearance anyways.

With the 2.02 valve heads you for sure need to have your pistons notched to clear the valves. And as watchdogfour stated I would check to make sure the springs are compatible with that cam, which I don't think so.

Peak lift has nothing to do with piston to valve clearance.

The radial clearance will likely be more of a problem than the lift point at a certain duration, during overlap.
