Does anyone have any experience with Maxxis tires? Particulary the Maxxis MAV1 models? I went to my local tire shop because they said they price match if they can get them but they considered the Sumitomo HRTZs are special order and they wont match the $88 per tire that tirerack.com does since its a special order for their store.

As far as price they told me they could do a set of Maxxis MAV1s for $100/tire. I tired searching on here but no luck. Also tirerack.com doesnt even carry this brand. So basically my question is are these tires worth it?

They have been into off road stuff for a while. From what I understand they got into street tires last year. I have a set on my Mazda 6, they were cheap, are quiet, and ride true.

No complaints other than their all season tires blow in snow. I dont remember the model of the tire though. It was an all season performance I think.

Yeah I thought they were strictly offroad tires when I thought about it a little because I once had them on a dirt bike years ago. I couldnt really find much in terms of reviews either. I think I might not get them lol. Thanks guys.
