I might go. I recommend you arrive early if at all possible. It will be crowded!

Better not be crowded.

Wednesday was almost the best time to go last year, averaged 11 runs a night. However the last few events of the year were slower because everyone blowing oil all over in hopes of a new best time.

I think it will be crowded on the first Wednesday. Especially in view of their decision to run bracket races instead of T n T beginning in March! We can never know though...

For me, Jegs was the best source. Thiers were about $108. for the needed Snell rating. -It's a price to reference, anyway.

I have the solid black CL-14, which can be purchased at any motorcycle shop for cheap. I picked mine up at Bellevue Kawasaki.

There are many different opinions on helmets. I wanted one with an open face. It gets hot sitting in the staging lanes wearing the kind that cover your face.

In the past they struggled to open at 4PM. The road course runs until that time and they cannot realistically transition immediately. I think the 5PM opening time might be an attempt to be more realistic. We'll see. If you are going to the first one, be early if possible. I think it will be crowded. If rain is threatening a lot of people stay away though.

PR has a road course of about two miles (Bremerton has one too). You can use it on club days if the club is welcoming enough. You could look at the schedule and see when the Alfa Club races. They will let you race if you pass tech. There are many rules restricting what you can do.
