MC and Booster

A guy that was helping me look for a booster installed an 89 5.0 unit in a 68 manual brake car, and it bolted right up, IIRC, he just had to flip the end on the pedal rod and it bolted in. He said the brakes are great (but the car its on is a flaming POS :D)

Here are some photos of when I was adapting a 5.0L Fox Mustang brake booster in my '68. (both versions --2.3L & 5.0L).

This swap is NOT a direct bolt-in. You will have to modify the firewall and pedal support for the booster's mounting stud pattern, and enlarge the center firewll hole where the master cylinder mounted, but in the end, it's a pretty nice setup.

so basically its just minor modifications?

I don't mean to hijack... but... has anyone fit a 94+ booster into a classic yet ? I only ask because I can get a 95 GT booter for free but I gota get it quick before the car gets junked.
