Can this particular ECU mate with a automatic transmission? I understand it specifically says MANUAL but could it work with just at least making the engine run on a stand? Because i am currently trying to get a dumped 5.0 94 gt to run but want to completely do the wiring all over. Let me know of any work arounds. maybe keep the stock ecu connected with the tranny and the aftermarket ecu just control the engine?

I think it would be easier to run a Baumann Electronic Controls or US Shift module to control the trans vs. trying to run to ECU's. Not cheap but trying to hack the stock ECU just to control the transmission is wrought with disaster.

I believe you can connect a microsquirt to the MS2 through Canbus and have it control the trans.

Steve (@a91what ) can probably answer that better
