I read a thread a while back where a guy was putting Mach1 style quarter panels on because they give a different quarter windo shape, and honestly i didnt even know they were.

I think thats very cool because its subtle, and subtlety is style in my opinion. Little details no one would notice until the double take, thats ****ing badass. Are there any other oft' overlooked odd cosmetic parts floating around out there?

Ive got smoked clear corners, mach 1 chin spoiler, grill delete, and am hoping to get my cobra rockers and brakes soon. A spoiler delete is going with the shop visit for the cobra side skirts. How much and where can i find the Mach 1 quarters? is ford the only option? Theyre so ****ing over priced... and all the parts come painted. I never knew cobra skirts looked so good on GT's until some girl recommended it to me. Any one else have any recommendations?

What about painted rearview mirrors? do you have to buy special ones? and where, or do people just paint the stock ones.

Thanks for any input....im bored as hell

Your stock sideview mirrors can be sanded smooth and painted or you can buy a set of 03/04 Cobra ones, which come painted and a fold-aways too.

When i said melted i was referencing the subtle differences in styling.

I think the look im going to go for is the black trim panel inbetween the headlights, black out the lights also, delete the spoiler. I saw that on a White car and it looked really good. I hope it looks good or better on my Orange car. I also plan on getting my chin spoiler painted, but that little dip between the bumper and the spoiler will ruin it, I wonder if theres a way to get them more flush. Paint the side mirrors aswell. Keep my rims cause they are the right color and cant find machined termi replica rims. Then i'd like to spend an inordinate amount of money on a power package im working out with a retailer. This is going to end up being a 6 mo plus ****ing headache but oh well.

I feel kinda bad spending money on appearance instead of power. but the more i think about it the more it makes sense. Power stuff will come, and the new heads dont come out for several more months anyway.

I'd really like to know where i can find those quarter panels though.....

I've found the mirrors for $200. They are not cheap but they aren't that expensive. They are much nicer than painted stockers IMO.

I think you are talking about the sail panels not quarter panels.

PAinted stock mirrors look cheap and tacky to me and remind me of a $200 maaco paintjob.

03/04 cobra mirrors are the only way to go as far as painted mirrors go

I think the word you were thinking of is melded, not melted.

Good luck on getting your different look.
