Merkur clutch questions

So evidently the Merkur uses a T9 5 speed (right?)? I'm looking to put a new clutch in it, was wondering if a regular clutch for a T5/Mustang 2.3 will work in it, also is it a big deal to swap a T5 into it and does it require anything special to do so?

The T-9 is a weak transmission so I would advise you to swap it with a T-5

That's what i've been hearing....is the T5 swap pretty straight up or...? Right now the T9 is perfect but i want to swap the clutch, i figure while i'm at it i may as well do the trany as well.
