I found a guy who owns a performance shop in town and has a used Snow Performance Boost Cooler. it is a stage 2 version so it has 2 injectors. It has all of the wiring harnesses and such. is it hard to mount it on the intake of an SVO? and is it worth $100? i think they retail for like $300+. im really thinkin about getting it but i have no idea where to mount it on the intake. it is a factory setup after the turbo. would i want to tap the intercooler or put the injectors in the upper intake?

I actually have the Stage 1 Snow Performance system in my carb turbo. Although I do run a carb setup, I've read the installation instructions for the EFI setup and it does'nt appear too difficult to install the injector in your model Stang. Meth/water injection really helps if you want to decrease detontation when you're running higher boost. Along with an Intercooler you can experiment much more liberally with your boost setting. Snow actually recommends and should have included instructions on where to mount the water/meth injector. I recall that the injectors were mounted on the intake, but I recommend a visit to the Snow performance site to verify.

Whatever you do, don't go poking holes or making any modifications to that SVO intercooler. Otherwise you'll have to sell it to me for $30. If you keep the top-mount I/C and want to use it for injector mounting, just get a cheap TurboCoupe unit and mod that. SVO parts are not easy to find and you'd kick yourself for altering it.
