My buddy is working in a junk yard. I asked if they have any 5.0 HO's and he said no. But they have a bunch of 302's outta trucks and vans.

Are these blocks as good as the HO's? Are the shortblocks the same?
Im thinking about getting one putting it my basment and start picking away at it.

Would stroking one of these blocks to a 347 be a good idea? Any info on these blocks would be great. Like what years are better than others.

Thanks
