I was planning on purchasing a MGW shifter in a few months and was wondering if anyone has any input on their shift knobs. I have narrowed it down to either the classic ball, or the composite race knob. I love the old school looks of the ball, but does it feel good in your hand? To me the race knob looks really comfortable and easy to grip. Any comments will help as I dont want to spend $65 on a shifter knob and not be happy.

So on my old '01 Mustang, I originally got their composite shifter. However, I just wasn't a big fan of it. I eventually replaced with a T handle shifter they used to make, which I LOVED. I note that they don't make it anymore. :(

When I got the MGW shifter for my '10, I went with their rally shifter ball (I assume that's what you're talking about) I like it, more than the composite, less than the T handle. I'd like it more if it were bigger. I'm 6'4 and have big hands, and it feels a little small. Otherwise, I would recommend it.

Thanks for the input. I am only 5'5 so I dont have to worry about any of the knobs being to small lol. Ya I think the rally is pretty much the same as the classic ball.
